Louder for the people in the back! Thanks for pointing that out - of course we don't have to consume reenactments of violence to believe people (and history) when they share their lived experience. There are so many other parts of Black experience. Black pain has been center stage in the US for so long if witnessing violence created change in the average person, we'd be living in a very different world than the one we're in.
